The first leg from San Diego, CA, USA across the Pacific Ocean is scheduled to commence in 2010. The route was planned out according to prevailing winds and currents, from east to west. The participant and project team members might carry corrections to the original port of leave and/or route with ever-changing political situations and seasons in mind.
